The Wine
This is a single-barrel selection from our 2-acre Winery Block which is the smallest, most powerful of the Bergström Wines estate vineyards. The winery block is planted to an ultra-high Burgundian density of 10,000 vines per hectare and is farmed entirely by hand with no mechanization. There is only one small fermentation per year that is 100% whole cluster, and the resulting 8–10 barrels’ worth of wine are aged for one year. This wine is one of those barrels.
Learn more about this lot during Preview Week, when winemaker Josh Bergström will present this wine during a virtual tasting session on July 26. Register here.
The Winery
