The Wine
Produced from our "Mixed Block," this wine was sourced from three different clones in Block 3 of our Russell-Grooters Vineyard. These clones—Dijon 777, Pommard and Wädenswil—were provided by Oregon wine legend Dick Erath. This block has been known to produce the fruit for some of our most celebrated and highly regarded Pinot noir.
The Winery
We are a small, artisanal winery committed to making premium wines in the Willamette Valley handcraft tradition. Since 2001 we've had the great fortune to contribute to the extraordinary Oregon wine story with our acclaimed Roads End Oregon Pinot noir, which made the top ten in Wine Spectator reviewer Harvey Steiman's Recommended Oregon Wines list. In 2007 we opened our Carlton Cellars winery and tasting room and bottled the first public releases from our own estate grapes from our LIVE certified Russell-Grooters Vineyard. We now produce Pinot noir, Auxerrois, Pinot gris, Pinot blanc and Sauvignon blanc.
