The Wine
Lamb of God embodies the finest qualities from two of the most distinguished AVAs in the Willamette Valley: the Eola-Amity Hills and Yamhill-Carlton. Since our philosophy on oak has been to use it as a seasoning agent and not a weapon, this wine is aged in two- to three-year-old barrels. Toothsome dark fruit and a silky, voluptuous mouthfeel are shepherded into the divine concoction. Plan to sacrifice bottle after bottle.
The Winery
Maison Noir Wines was founded in 2007 by iconoclastic sommelier André Hueston Mack, a Per Se and French Laundry alumnus, incorporating his trademark attitude and personal perspective on wine subculture. The wines are unique and distinctive garage wines (micro-négociant), sourcing the best fruit possible in the Willamette Valley region of Oregon to produce wines showing the individuality of their respective sites and terroirs.
