The Wine
This Pinot noir is sourced from a two-acre block of self-rooted Pinot noir planted by Charles Coury in the mid ’60s. These 50-year-old selections are part of what are known as the Coury Clones. The wine was fermented spontaneously, aged in 20% new French oak with 20% whole cluster and bottled unfiltered. The original Coury plantings are farmed in the Laurelwood soil series and showcase the clones’ interplay between elegance and structure.
